What you need to know to make your appointment run smoothly
As a service provider, it is important to respect my clients' time and schedules. Arriving on time for appointments is a crucial part of building a positive and professional relationship with them. Therefore, I ask that you please be ready upon my arrival as I can only wait 10 minutes to get started to stay on schedule for my other clients.

Effective immediately, all hair and nail care services for new clients with Designs by Ash, LLC will require full payment either at the time you schedule or before their appointment time. You are welcome to leave the money with them, but only if prior arrangements were made with me. Unfortunately, I can no longer call for payment once the service is done as I am too busy and I'm having too much trouble getting people to respond. Once you are an established client, there will be a 50% non refundable deposit for all perm and color jobs at the time the appointment is made is required. This is the same policy salons have done for quite awhile, so I am just adhering to our normal standards.

Cancelation/No Show Policy:
I ask that you reschedule or cancel your appointment with at least 24-48 hours notice to avoid being charged a cancellation fee of half of your scheduled fee. Your appointment is set based on the services being performed and what area I am working in for the day, therefore with my being mobile makes it hard to get someone else rescheduled with no notice in your spot. Clients who miss their appointments with no prior notice will be charged in full for the scheduled service before any future appointments can be made. Please understand that being a mobile company requires strategic planning to get to as many clients in a day as possible & I do a lot of traveling during the day and can't afford down time between clients. When you miss an appointment with no notice, I not only lose business (I look forward to seeing you), but my other clients suffer that could have had the appointment time you canceled.
Thank you in advance for your help!

It seems a lot of people don't realize that I am indeed a real Stylist, but I assure you that I am. I have been licensed in Missouri for 35 years & in Kansas for 10 years, therefore my company is just as important and the exact same as a salon. The only difference is I come to my clients, so they don't need to go to the salon. As a mobile service provider, I do require a 48 hour notice if you choose to cancel, unless it's an obvious emergency.
